What is the most straight-forward way to receive imported products from China or Taiwan? I am trying to import products from Taiwan or China and I'm getting a little in over may head. I am in Colorado and would like to receive the products here. I already have a manufacturer in Taiwan that I feel comfortable with but I have not experienced importing from overseas before. What is the process getting the products to my door? Do I need to hire a third party? What should I NOT overlook? I want to avoid any unseen complications and pitfalls. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Restrictions on food that I can bring into Taiwan? I might be traveling to Taiwan in the next few months and I have rather unusual dietary restrictions. I'm a vegan raw foodists (don't eat anything cooked/processed or animal products) so it's rather complicated for me to travel out of US or travel in general. Do you know what kind of restrictions there are on bringing food with me into the country. Not necessarily raw produce but something like packaged dried sea weed, nuts/seeds, and cold pressed olive oil? Where could I find information about this? Any recommendations on purchasing raw produce there or how to find cold pressed oils?
Is it possible to import products from China to El Salvador? It's known that China and El Salvador relationships are not the best due to political issues related to the Taiwan-case. However, Im not sure if it also affects the commercial relationships. Which Is The Cheapest Postal Service. China Post, Korea Post, Hong Kong or Taiwan Post? I am about to import some products from Asia. The suppliers in Korea, China, Taiwan all sell the same products at the same price. The packaging could be anything from 15kg to 30kg at a time. Do you think it is safe to outsource products to third world countries? I bought dish towels that had been made in Pakistan. When they got wet, they had a horrible odor. I had to throw them out. I found out other countries don't use our kind of sizing - they use formaldihyde. A friend bought a sweater made in Taiwan. Same thing. she had to throw it out.
