Can I use the American Wii Shop Channel from Taiwan?

I have an American Wii.

1. It's the same thing.. the same games are listed in the 'Taiwan shop channel' as the 'American shop channel' just the currency of it is different..
2. If you have an American Wii the Wii Shop Channel will automatically be the US Shop. You cannot change it. So as long as your Wii works at Taiwan and you get the connection then you can use the American Wii Shop (infact, you have to).
