Why did MSNBC and CNN stop reporting Taiwan events?
We're getting pummelled by Typhoon Krosa at the moment. 3 weeks ago another typhoon hit here, MSNBC and CNN only reported the typhoon AFTER it cleared Taiwan and headed for China. Did they cave into pressure from Beijing to avoid Taiwan news? Or do they just have a different map than us?

- YES China is a communist country, they control the communist news network=(CNN) M'KAY!~!
- Why didn't Fox Noise report any of this? Were there just too many Lindsey Lohan stories to cover? Why did Fox refuse to air a report about the high school being built in Baghdad for Iraqis? Or about the water treatment plant being reopened? Or the fact that Baghdad hospitals are now completely stocked with supplies and running effectively? Or the fact that the Iraqi capital now has electricity completely restored, after over 4 years with none? Oh. Because those things haven't happened in Iraq. To get back to YOUR question, that typhoon from two weeks ago. Did it do any damage in Taiwan? If not, then what would be the news value of "A Typhoon passed Taiwan today, no damage was reported and no one was injured"? Or "A Hurricane thousands of miles from the US will not make landfall anywhere"? Sorry, not to sound as though I lack empathy, but these are "non-News" stories. There are only so many broadcasting hours and frankly, in News, Death and Devastation Sells. And who says they DIDN'T run the story but you missed it? No offense but you sort of remind of the Iraqi woman who hates America's presense in Iraq, but blames them every time al Qaida in Iraq or one of the old Sunni Death Squads come around purging the neighborhood. Blame em for being there, blame em for NOT being there...
- They didn't stop covering the Typhoon!! I watch CNN and they continue to report on it.
